Age of Automata: Origins of Poison Plains | Dark Steampunk Short Film

Uncover the origin story of the Poison Plains — a scorched wasteland where toxic pools shimmer, corroded machines rot in silence, and the very air feels cursed. In this short film, we journey into a forgotten corner of the Age of Automata to witness how it all began. Once, there was life here. Then came the machines. What followed was not a storm, but a slow corruption of the lands. This is a story of progress left unchecked, of warnings ignored… until it’s too late. 🙏 If you’d like to support my work: https://buymeacoffee.com/cineautoma 🎵 Music: * “I thought You Said You Lived Alone” by Eden Avery * "A Cold Wind" by Savvun Tools & Credits: 🎙️ Voiceover: Created with ElevenLabs — try it for free: https://try.elevenlabs.io/4qowi56ulcdi 🔊 Music & SFX from Epidemic Sound — explore with a free trial: https://share.epidemicsound.com/tyxra5/?playlist=kapdfszx7bm4vveisxorrk795ap9m51v 🎞️ Visuals generated and animated with: * Midjourney * Runway Gen-4 * Kling – try it here: https://klingaiaffiliate.pxf.io/c/6261222/2860939/31828 🖥️ Final editing & composition in Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop (Using the links above helps support the channel.
