This film is about how the dark night of the soul, can create a moment in time where your identity falls away and you adopt ideals that aren't necessarily aligned with who you are, and your core truths. This is also a personal story, about my past, Cole, our main characters story, isn't too different than mine, I was one, or two decisions away from walking a similar path. I think a lot of folks walks paths like these and by acknowledging that, hopefully, we can all learn to have empathy and understanding for each other. This isn't quite a hero's journey, I think it would have been too cheap and superficial, but the narrative puts Cole on the path for one. Some folks might look at this as political commentary, it's not meant to be, but it is real and real, sometimes upset people. Thanks for watching
