The track scores the real-world final dungeon, the floating black castle that Bowser and the bat-king Antasma share as their joint base of operations. The Dream World version of the same dungeon uses a separate track titled *Neo Bowser Castle's Illusion*. The castle itself was wished into existence at the summit of Mount Pajamaja. After the brothers help Bowser charge the Dream Stone with energy, Antasma seizes the moment and uses the stone to wish for an impenetrable castle that will be feared. The castle materializes from the stone in seconds, immediately floats into the sky, and is surrounded by an unbreakable barrier that Mario and Luigi cannot pierce until they recruit the dragon-deity Zeekeeper from the Dream World to shatter it. The castle's interior is the only Mario & Luigi final dungeon explicitly designed as a co-owned space between two unrelated villains. Bowser's signature elements (lava seas, spike pits, his face on tiles in red, blue, green, and yellow) blend with Antasma's elements (dimly lit rooms, dark torches, giant purple vines and shadowy tendrils rising from the ground).
